As the 8th Annual Biloxi Box Set Music Festival sneaks up on us in less than three weeks, the question remains:

🌊 A Change of Venue… With Some BIG Advantages!

One change that we were forced to make for this year’s event was moving off the beach and into the pavilion behind the boardwalk.

Unfortunately, there will be dredging going on directly behind the hotel, which means the beach will be inaccessible during this year’s festival.

But here’s the good news…

You won’t need to pack your canopy!

And you won’t have to spend money renting canopy space this year either!

Instead, simply bring your chairs and coolers, head to the pavilion, and claim your spot for the entire weekend.

There is plenty of shade, and the breeze coming off the water through the area is quite refreshing. It’s also a more intimate setting where you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your favorite artists.

And there’s another reason we’re pretty comfortable with this change…

☀️ We’ve Used This Pavilion Before!

The pavilion has always been our backup plan in case of inclement weather.

In fact, we’ve used this same location at South Beach Hotel & Suites for our “And We Drink” Music Festival for the last two years — and it has been fantastic!

So while the location may be different this year, we’re confident that it will provide an awesome atmosphere for three days of music, fun, friends, and PHun.

We’re working on some more fun things for this year’s event — including something that will help make Christmas a little brighter for children in need.

This year, we’re planning a Toys for Tots Drive with a very special vehicle involved.

We’re going to try to fill up a Volkswagen Thing with toys!

If you’ve seen Jimmy Buffett’s “Fruitcakes” music video, you may remember the Volkswagen Thing that Jimmy Buffett was driving.

Well, we’re bringing that iconic VW spirit to the Biloxi Box Set!

🚙🎁 Let’s Make That Thing Overflow!

The Marines will also be available to help us with this toy drive, and we’re asking everyone attending the festival to join in.

Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy to this year’s event!

Our goal is simple:

We want that VW Thing overflowing with toys for underprivileged kids!

So while you’re packing your chairs, cooler, festival gear, and Parrot Head decorations, throw a new, unwrapped toy in the car, too.

Let’s show what the Parrot Head community can do when we come together!

Yes, you read that correctly.

The Vibrator Races are returning!

Get ready for some rollicking good fun as this fan-favorite competition makes its return to the Biloxi Box Set.

We’re looking into having a balcony decorating contest this year!
