Carrie Welling is officially scheduled to perform at the 8th Annual Biloxi Box Set Music Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Taking place right on the beach behind the South Beach Biloxi Hotel & Suites in Biloxi, Mississippi, this premier coastal weekend merges tropical rock, Americana storytelling, and local fundraising. Welling will anchor the late afternoon slot on the final day of the multi-day festival.

From “Military Brat” to Nashville Stardom

Raised in a nomadic military family, Welling’s music often explores heavy themes of unrooted life, intense heartbreak, and self-discovery. Her father introduced her to songwriting at age six, sparking a lifelong dedication to musical storytelling. Today, she is widely recognized for her rich, sultry voice and deeply vulnerable lyrics, drawing frequent comparisons to legends like Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks.

A Evolving, Mature Sound

Welling’s newest record, A Crack in the Chaos, highlights a sophisticated evolution in her songwriting. The album seamlessly blends contemporary Americana-pop melodies with raw, honest acoustic foundations. Produced alongside Nashville’s top-tier session musicians, her recent songs reflect the deep emotional connection she shares with her loyal community of listeners, whom she affectionately calls her “Wellos”.

Festival Schedule & Ticketing Details

The festival is organized by the Towns Around Biloxi Parrot Head Club. Proceeds from this year’s ticket sales directly support military veterans across the Mississippi Gulf Coast in honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Get ready to dip your toes in the sand, raise a glass, and rock out for an incredible cause! On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Towns Around Biloxi Parrot Head Club (TABPHC) is once again teaming up to host the highly anticipated 2nd Annual “And We Drink” Music Festival. This single-day, beachfront celebration brings together tropical rock enthusiasts, locals, and visitors alike to enjoy great music while supporting a powerful mission of giving back.

The Inspiring Story Behind “And We Give”

Last year’s inaugural festival was born out of a community emergency: a mission to “phundraise” for beloved local musician Rain Jaudon after his vital entertainment equipment was stolen. Following that massive success, Rain decided to permanently pay it forward. He founded “And We Give,” a Mississippi-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Today, this charity acts as a critical safety net, providing emergency financial relief, resource connection, and support to local artists and musicians who are facing unexpected hardships.

A Dynamic Music Lineup

A stellar group of musicians are generously donating their time and talents to the cause. The event features a completely laid-back atmosphere with music running non-stop. Pull up a chair and enjoy the official schedule:

  • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lee Bosarge
  • 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Greg Dillard
  • 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Bob Durand
  • 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Johnny Mire
  • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Lloyd Munn

Event Details & How to Help

This festival is entirely focused on music, sunshine, and community support—meaning there is no cover charge and no stress.

  • Location: The South Beach Hotel Outdoor Pavilion, located right on the coast at 1735 Beach Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39531.
  • Time: Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 10:00 PM.
  • What to Bring: Attendees are encouraged to embrace the casual Parrot Head lifestyle. Bring your own beach/lawn chairs and BYOB (bring your own beverages).
  • Fundraising: While entry is free, your generosity is what keeps local artists on track. Raffles and auction items will be available throughout the day, and any direct monetary donations are heavily welcomed.

Whether you stay for one band or hang out for the entire 10-hour marathon, your presence means the world to the Gulf Coast music community. Come out, enjoy some tunes, and help a fantastic charity give back to those who provide the soundtrack to our lives.

Since the 8th Annual Biloxi Box Set Music Festival will be honoring the men & women in uniform and the first responders on the 25th Anniversary of 9-11, the Towns Around Biloxi Parrot Head Club have added a new “layer” to the philanthropic nature of the event. At this event, the club will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the “Toys for Tots” program. And we’re filling up a classic car, a 1973 Volkswagen Type 181 “Thing”!

Just like Jimmy Buffett drove in his official “Fruitcakes” video, a VW Thing will be available under the South Beach Hotel Pavilion to collect all those toys for those families in need. Event participants, musicians, and visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to fill her up!

Meet, “Ariel”, a 1973 VW “Thing”. She will be collecting donations at the 8th Annual Biloxi Box Set Music Festival as the “Fruitcakes for Families” Collection Car.
