Carrie Welling is officially scheduled to perform at the 8th Annual Biloxi Box Set Music Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Taking place right on the beach behind the South Beach Biloxi Hotel & Suites in Biloxi, Mississippi, this premier coastal weekend merges tropical rock, Americana storytelling, and local fundraising. Welling will anchor the late afternoon slot on the final day of the multi-day festival.

From “Military Brat” to Nashville Stardom

Raised in a nomadic military family, Welling’s music often explores heavy themes of unrooted life, intense heartbreak, and self-discovery. Her father introduced her to songwriting at age six, sparking a lifelong dedication to musical storytelling. Today, she is widely recognized for her rich, sultry voice and deeply vulnerable lyrics, drawing frequent comparisons to legends like Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks.

A Evolving, Mature Sound

Welling’s newest record, A Crack in the Chaos, highlights a sophisticated evolution in her songwriting.
