The Parrot Head Palooza Party is all about what Parrot Head life is supposed to be: good people, good music, good food, cold drinks, and good times.

From 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM, the River Road Boat Club will become the place to be for a full day of LIVE MUSIC, food, tropical vibes, dancing, margaritas, and fun with friends.

Whether you’re a longtime Parrot Head, a fan of great live music, or simply looking for a fun way to spend a Sunday, you’re invited to come out and enjoy the celebration.

The Towns Around Biloxi Parrot Head Club is officially dropping anchor in Jackson County – Home of Jimmy Buffett.

The local trop-rock enthusiast and community service group will celebrate its new membership with the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The dual-purpose Ribbon Cutting and Social event kicks off at 6:00 pm at the River Road Boat Club, located at 4755 Pascagoula St in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Ribbon Cutting Meets Tropical Social

The evening offers a blend of professional networking and casual, island-inspired fun. Representatives from the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will lead the official ribbon-cutting ceremony promptly at 6:00 pm.

Club leadership and key members will join together at the front to cut the ceremonial red ribbon. Immediately following the ceremony, the event shifts into a traditional Parrot Head social. Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere that channels the relaxed, charitable spirit for which the international Parrot Head network is known.

Live Entertainment by Greg Dillard

Local musician Greg Dillard will provide the soundtrack for the evening. Known for his engaging performances, Dillard will deliver live music perfectly suited for the waterfront venue, blending coastal favorites and trop-rock staples to keep the energy high.

Party with a Purpose

While Parrot Head clubs are famous for celebrating the beach-loving lifestyle popularized by Jimmy Buffett, their core mission is community service. The Towns Around Biloxi chapter frequently organizes fundraisers, environmental cleanups, and charity drives across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Joining the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce marks a strategic step for the club to deepen its roots, expand its local network, and increase its civic impact in neighboring coastal communities.

🎶 Live Trop Rock by Matt Hoggatt & Johnny Mire

Before the first pitch and throughout the night, enjoy live music from two Gulf Coast favorites:

Johnny Mire — a Coast musician known for smooth vocals and breezy island rhythms
